About Me

I have always been quite curious about creating videos or posts online, in fact my first time creating a design I felt this type of excitement I couldn't understand and from there I carried on.

The first time I started creating videos was when I was around fourteen years old with a group of my friends at church, at the time it was all 'fun' and 'games' but as I grew older I knew it was something I wanted to continue doing.

Experience & Work

I previously worked as a receptionist / administrator but aside from my work life I have years of experience maintaining an online presence under the alias 'PATRICKPW'.

My most viewed video gained 9.7k views, this was during the height of the pandemic, at the time I was still a student in college, and the amount of traction I amassed led people to engage and interact with the video I posted on YouTube.

Using the momentum that I had gained I decided to take this opportunity to grow my following even further.

Though my 'saga' of creating videos for Pixel Worlds has come to an end, my journey in creating content has pivoted somewhere else to help me grow and develop new skills as a person.

In this ever growing landscape of social media, short form content reigns and with this being the case I decided to start TikTok.

At the moment I'm starting a new series in where I'm documenting my journey through becoming a graphic designer, initially it started off with learning how to create 'Y2K' designs but I later realised that in order to keep this series flowing I made the decision to create all sorts of designs and showcasing them and the process through my TikTok page.

At first it would of been daily videos creating designs, but to avoid confusion I count the days solely on when I create designs/film them so these videos are spaced out so that I have enough time for ideas and time to edit them.

The end goal and what I want to achieve from this series is to have the developed skills in order to create high quality designs as well as be fully versatile in my skillset, as this becomes transferrable to any creative career so that you are adaptable and flexible.
